DEATH-INEVITABLE

Death is an inevitable and unavoidable conclusion to life.We never know when we’ll die, or how, but we know it will happen.

Death can also be an instrument by which we measure the value and worth of our lives. Most importantly, Live a good and peaceful life, stay true to yourself and stay humble.

I lost someone who was very nice to me last night.A very nice, industrious, calm and collected Man and above all GOD-FEARING. He made me believe beauty, stature, body structure isnt LOVE. And That love is way beyond the physical. He loved his wife even in her inperfection. This is a little reminder that around every corner of life is death. It’s a reminder that regardless of how careful we plan our future, we have only a finite amount of time in which to live to our fullest extent. It is also a reminder that death has no boundary.

We react differently to death. Some are so consumed by grief and agony that they nearly succumb themselves. Others take a moment to reflect on life and then let it all pass.

I tend to put my thoughts into words, because my eyes are dry of tears already. It takes a brave person to see the face of death and respond with a one-finger salute. Perhaps because they, too, will one day find themselves 6-feet-under-the-ground. Stay humble....

REASONS WHY GIRLS PREFER OLDER MEN

1.We know how much girls like money. For a girl to prefer an older man,Means he is financially stable. Apart from that, there are all the chances that he is emotionally stable too. Such men offer a natural sense of security to women. They feel more care free financially, physically and emotionally when they are with such men.

 2. They Understand women better With the experience and wisdom that comes with age: They are known to be more understanding and sensitive towards the emotional needs of a woman, which obviously women find very attractive.LOL!While the 'not-so-matured' and younger men are still busy gaining their share of experience.

 3. It's Fun to talk to Older men: Very rarely do they brag and are mostly interested in enjoying a conversation rather than showing off. Moreover, they like to talkabout various  things other than mere mushy stuff. Therefore, many women are of the opinion that such men are a better choice than their younger counterparts.

4. Feeling at peace: It is also a well-known fact that most women tend to panic and get upset quickly. This is when they need a firm, supportive and understanding partner by their side. It might sound silly but women find older men more “grown up” emotionally and with their thoughts about the relationship. So, even if the woman gets upsets or panics in some situations, the man can provide them much required stability and calmness.

5. Older men are Less likely to cheat: While younger men are busy looking for flings and some fun time, the older ones (at least most ofthem!) seek just one thing- a stable, committed relationship. This is something that attract women.

PHINO IMPREGNATES RITA EDMOND

The whole media was awash with the story that rapper Phyno got singer Rita Edmond pregnant and she wants to abort it but he is begging her to keep it. How true is dat???

The report also claims he sent her on a holiday to Dubai. Both parties were contacted by Punch. While Phyno totally denied, she said she is dating a rapper but didn’t call names…looks like she circulated the story then..

Phyno said… “Believe it or not, I’ve never met or spoken to anyone by that name. I haven’t made any woman pregnant either. If people need three seconds of fame I’m glad that my name could help,”Meanwhile, when Rita was contacted for her reaction, she was evasive. After much persuasion, she decided to open up. But she ended up saying, “The only information I can give you is that I am in love with a rap artiste. I don’t want to mention his name. Since different stories are flying around, I am trying to understand where everybody got their story from.WAHALA DEYYY!!!

But wait ooo....can you all spot the blunder in rita Edmond's outfit...eishhhhhhhhhh...omo igbo kparaku..LOL

YORUBA

Yoruba is a single largest nationality in West Africa sub-region. Primarily, Yoruba people are found in the South western part of Nigeria in: Lagos, Ọyọ,Ogun, Ọsun, Ondo, Ekiti, and Kwara states. Yoruba people account for one-third of Kogi state population, several thousand of Yoruba by descent live in the western part of Edo state (Akoko Edo) and the Itsekiris of Delta State originated from Yoruba land, possibly  from Ijebu.

Interestingly, some other  groups outside the Western Region have some Yoruba connections, possibly, their present abodes might have been the second, or one of the several settlements, outside Yoruba enclave. Yoruba territory covers a wide range of geographical and ecological zones, these include, but are not limited to: savannah, mangrove rain-forest, and the coastal belt of Atlantic Ocean.

There are Yoruba people in Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, Cote d’Ivorie , millions  by descent in the  Caribbean Island  and South America, who do not speak Yoruba, but have cultural affinity with the Yoruba of Nigeria.

Yorubas are found in their ancestral home, Nigeria, neighboring West African  countries, and Yorubas are descent around the globe.Yoruba belongs to Niger-Congo language category-one of the major language families in Africa and the largest in terms of geographical spread, number of speakers, and number of distinct languages. In fact, Niger-Congo language family is one of the major language categorizations around the globe; A method use by Linguists to categorize noun by referent such as sex: male or female; animate: people, animals, plants, objects, and places; gender: masculine and feminine.

Yoruba as a people, are descendants of legendary Oduduwa, the first king of Ile-Ifẹ. Myths and history have different versions of Oduduwa history. The mythologists believed that Olodunmare created Oduduwa, placed him in Ile-Ifẹ, after five-legged-hen had spread sand on marshy and watery land for habitation. But to historians, Oduduwa migrated from the East probably from Arabia peninsula (Mecca to be precise)

During jihadist movement, traveled thousands of miles west ward through Sudan settled at different places, and settled at Ile-Ifẹ.

Whatever is the story, the fact remains- O’dua lived at Ile-Ifẹ, became father to seven sons or more and  daughters, these individuals at different times  extended the frontiers Ifẹ to north,  south, east and west.

By 18th century Ọyọ Kingdom established by one of O’dua sons, Oranmiyan, had become the most powerful and most successful empire in the savannah and rain forest region. Ọyọ empire covered over 400 miles, extended to Dahomey (Benin Republic) covered the entire Yoruba land. And within this geo-political confine, other smaller kingdoms like Owu, Ketu, Popo, and Ifẹ existed side-by-side with Ọyọ.

HAVE A PERFECT BREAK UP BEFORE VALENTINE

Valentines day will soon be around the corner and many Nigerian couples are busy thinking up new ways to show their loved ones how they really feel.

But this article is not for them, this article is for those naughty ones who want to avoid the stress and commitment that comes with being in love.

1. Do an internal evaluation. Really spend sometime to meditate and see if your feelings to resolve the relationship are due to something temporary, such as: a petty disagreement, a misunderstanding,a miscommunication, jealousy, etc,or if it is a deal-breaker. Also, find out if you are at your best in this relationship, or if this relationship is your downfall.LOL

You should feel good being around your "boo.'" You should feel comfortable and safe. So, take some time to see if this is what you reallywant to do. If it is!

2. Keep it on the "DL." If you have to consult your bff or your mom, do so, but make sure they keep your plans private. It's bad enough that Valentine'sDay is coming up, then to make matters worse, thegossip has circulated and he/she finds out beforeyou have the time to talk. If everybody has been in your business in the past, do your best to keep thisbusiness to yourself until you have sealed the deal.Be mature!

3. Talk face to face. There is nothing worse than finding a "Dear John" letter in an email or on a text.Just because you are breaking up doesn't mean you can't be classy or decent. Find a location that is neutral and isn't crowded--a place that will provideyou with some intimate heart-to-heart conversation with this sensitive matter.

4. Let it go. When you break-up, let it go. Do not insist on being "friends" with the person you arebreaking up with. If you see your ex on a date, you cannot get mad and confront him/her. Your ex has a right to start a new life since you broke it off, and you have to realize that friendship might complicate things even more. It is also best to end amicably, ifyou can. If you can't then you should never result to defamation or insulting your exes' character. And last but not least…

5. Understand what you need. Before you get into another relationship, understand what you need and know where you are trying to go with your life. It doesn't make sense to get into a rebound relationship only to find out that you are not readyfor another commitment.

Be Wise!!!!

THIs is hilarious

There was this couple who had been married for 20 years. Every time they made love, the husband always insisted on shutting off the light.

Oh Well, after 20 years the wife felt this was ridiculous. She figured she would break him out of this crazy habit. So one night, while they were in the middle of a wild, screaming, romantic session, she turned on the lights. She looked down... and saw her husband was holding a battery-operated pleasure device... a vibrator!Soft, wonderful and larger than a real one.She said."You impotent bastard," She screamed at him, "how could you be lying to me all of these years? You better explain yourself!"The husband looks her straight in the eyes and says calmly:"I'll explain the toy...... you explain the kids.

"hilarious right???

THERE'S NO HARM IN TRYING

Nigerian actor and a model, Uti Nwachukwu (born August 3, 1982) was the winner ofBig Brother Africa 5.

Uti Nwachukwu, has said that his latest incursion into the Nigerian music scene is in fulfillment of his passion for his first love, rather than the quest for money. The winner of the Big Brother Africa reality show was a guest on Rubbin’ Minds on Channels Television on Sunday, where he spoke about some of his recent activities.

The man, who started his career as a model before hitting fame on the pan-African reality show has since delved into other areas of theentertainment business, after riding on his claim to fame to make a great career as a TV show host.He also enjoyed good reviews from his performances in a number of Nollywood movies.

In 2013, he released a single, launching his career as a recording artiste to the surprise of many Nigerians.Although he refused to rate himself as a musician, Uti noted that he grew up with his multiple talents, and has enjoyed the new experience because of the reaction it drew from many fans, as they were mostly suprised that he could sing.

The latest single was not his first attempt at singing and he admitted that much, adding that the previous two singles were not serious attempts; moreover, he had never been famous for his first attempts, as he reminded Ebuka that it also took him three attempts to win Big Brother Africa.
